What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for enthusiastic Special Needs Assistants to work in class alongside a Teacher and Teaching Assistant where there is an identified need for additional pupil support. We are looking for people who will act as a positive role models to our students and who, under direction of the class teacher, will be able to support our pupils in their progress and learning using specialised SEN strategies across the school.
The post-holder will work alongside the class teacher and Lead TA to raise the learning and attainment of all pupils in both academic and EHCP areas. Supporting pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access all areas of the curriculum, always promoting pupils’ independence.

Originally part of the LIFT Partnership Multi Academy Trust, a family of schools who work together to use and share a wide range of expertise and services, LIFT Partnership has now merged with The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) from March 2021
