Special NeedsTeaching Assistant for ASC provision job summary

We are seeking a  Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support in our Resourced provision for children with Autism. 

The provision is on the school site and children access learning both in the provision building and in mainstream classes. The children are a mix of ages and therefore are studying different topics, but they do have the opportunity to come together at least once a week for more social learning activities.

The children in the provision tend to have more complex needs and can have challenging behaviour, linked to their Autism.  Applicants should, therefore, have experience of working with  children with additional needs.
