Special School Class Teacher job summary
Due to expansion of the school, we are looking to appoint two enthusiastic, ambitious and highly skilled teachers who want to work with our fantastic children and young people. If you think that you meet these criteria please get in touch, even if you haven’t worked in a special school before!
In return we will offer you a structured induction programme and a commitment to your future professional development. In addition to this you will become part of a dedicated and enthusiastic staff team, a school with inclusion and respect at its core, and a school that is quickly working to establish itself as a centre of excellence.
This is an exciting time to join us. Whilst our expansion is primarily in KS2, this vacancy is suitable for a primary or secondary class teacher, as you may be asked to work in any key stage across the school. However, previous experience, training and personal preference will always be taken into account.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visits to the school at present, however we encourage and expect all prospective candidates to make an appointment for an informal chat over the phone to get to know us better before deciding to apply.
If you have any questions, or to arrange a telephone appointment, please contact Alison Cobb on 01767 601010 or at alison.cobb@ivelvalley.beds.sch.uk. We look forward to hearing from you.
Closing Date for Applications: Midday on Tuesday 23rd March 2021
Shortlisting: Wednesday 24th March 2021
