Merstone School is an all aged special school for pupils with severe and complex learning disabilities aged 2 – 19 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to support a group of secondary aged pupils with SLD, ASD and PMLD.

We are looking for a colleague who:
• Will provide effective learning opportunities in a range of core and foundation subjects.
• Will be motivated and will contribute to team working and team building.
• Will be flexible and able to adapt their teaching style to meet the learning needs of our pupils.
• Will support the communication and behaviour needs of the pupils.
• Will strive to provide the very best learning environment for our pupils and have high expectations of the pupils.
• Will be able to take advantage of the professional learning opportunities we can offer
