- Part time: 32 hours 30 minutes per week Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break 38 weeks of the year – term time + five additional days to be worked over the year, during school closure periods, to be agreed.

- Fixed term - One year fixed term contract until 31st August 2025
Pay scale
- Band B Point 7 – 12 (£18,442.29 - £20,056.36 per annum)
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible Specialist Learning Support
Assistant to work with young people with a visual impairment. The successful candidate will work with and support young
people with a visual impairment. This post is based in the Sensory Service
Resource base for Key Stage 3 and 4 students at St Clere’s School, however you
may be required to work across the primary and secondary age range.
Primarily, you will provide learning support for pupils with vision impairment ensuring their inclusion in the classroom and on the playground/sports field. You will also carry out 1:1 intervention sessions within the Resource Base, under the guidance of a Specialist teacher and may be asked to carry specialist equipment for students if necessary.
