What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to the promotion of our current SRP teacher/Assistant Principal for SENd, Pinkwell seeks an ambitious and motivated SEND Practitioner to work under the direction of the Assistant Principal for SENd and Vice Principal for Inclusion to support the implementation of Special Educational Needs (SEN) policy and provision for pupils in our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP).

The SRP has a maximum of 10 pupils at any one time through the Hillingdon LA and Pinkwell/Elliot Foundation Partnership to provide high quality SENd specialist provision for children with EHCPs, significant and complex SLCN.

We invite applications from candidates with the following attributes for this role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and/or relevant teaching experience/interest of SEND in the context of a primary school;

  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with significant experience of supporting children with complex SENd

  • Keen to provide active contribution to the successful development of pupils with SEND specifically SLCN or other significant vulnerabilities.

  • Evidence of commitment to personal CPD

  • Passionate about working to make teaching and learning imaginative, fun, purposeful and challenging

  • A dedicated professional with high expectations of all aspects of learning and school life

  • Committed to supporting the preparation of a welcoming and stimulating learning experience for all

  • A flexible thinker with a willingness to work across the school’s SENd provision as required
