Specialist SEND Intervention Teacher job summary

Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust, comprising of eight schools, six primary schools and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed specialist SEND Intervention Teacher who will enhance our Special Educational Needs provision at Carleton High School. The candidate may be a specialist SEND teacher or a Primary or Secondary teacher with an interest in SEND. The successful candidate will support students in the classroom and run small group and 1:1 targeted intervention sessions for students with SEND.

This post is a permanent, 1 FTE contract.
