Willow Dene is part of a unique and exciting thirteen school federation, enabling us to forge meaningful mainstream links that benefit both children and staff. Willow Dene is a school for children aged 2 –19 . We are excited to share with you that we have just opened a 6th form provision in September 2023. We have a warm water pool at Swingate Lane and a swim spa at Oakmere Road. We have been awarded NAS advanced accreditation and are a MOVE centre of excellence.

Willow Dene is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending the school. As the duties of these posts involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidates will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic swimming instructor, who is willing to learn and wants to achieve the very highest standards of teaching and learning in the pool. We are looking for candidates who are able to see the possibilities for our exceptional learners and support them to have safe, enjoyable and enriching experiences in the water.

You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and well qualified staff team and we hope you will find this post challenging, stimulating and rewarding. In-service training, an induction programme and mentoring will be provided by the school.
