What skills and experience we're looking for
We would like to appoint a Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in our new SEMH/Autism unit.
School hours 8.30am to 3.35pm (32.92 hours per week) with 30 mins for lunch, 5 days a week. This post is term-time only to start as soon as possible.

If you are someone who:
- is keen to help children succeed with learning
- is prepared to work 1:1 with pupils with Special Educational Needs
- is able to use their own initiative with tasks when required
- has a good level of competency with reading, writing and maths, as well as use a computer for a range of tasks
- wants to extend their own skills
- has a friendly open nature, who considers the needs of others within the team and is always willing to help
- has some experience of working in a school environment

Our brand new Resource Base caters for small classes of children with Autism/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will work closely with teachers and the Unit Lead whilst still being part of the Kennet Valley Team.
