Specific Learning Difficulty Teacher job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced SpLD Teacher to be our Lead Teacher for students with specific learning difficulties across all Key Stages, and to teach small withdrawal groups and 1:1 interventions. Working closely with the SENCO, the new post-holder will also develop and deliver programmes of literacy and numeracy intervention, devise an executive functioning programme to be delivered by SEN staff, and take responsibility for exams access testing and applications for identified students. Previous experience in supporting high functioning autistic students with high levels of anxiety is essential for this role. For more details about the role please see the job description.
The role is 18 hours per week over 5 mornings.
Duration: this is an event-linked role to 31st August 2020 in the first instance, with strong possibility of extension for one further year.

Salary: Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale Point 4
For 18 hours per week the salary is £18,592pa
