What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to cover a period of maternity leave (until the end of May 2024), joining a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and support team, Child Psychotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
You will need to be a dedicated and innovative practitioner committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our students. This is an exciting opportunity for you to bring your knowledge, experience, enthusiasm and initiative to a specialist school setting. You will have the opportunity to assess and support students on their journey through the school and witness their growth and development first hand.
Operating using a tiered approach you will support our class teams with the development of the skills needed to support our students, and provided specialist and targeted support to individual students.
All support and guidance will be available to the successful candidate.
For the posts advertised, you must:
- Have experience working with students and young people with autism of a variety of ages
- Experienced with AAC
