The White Horse Federation is a multi-academy trust of primary schools, secondary schools, and special schools. We are looking for a Speech, Language & Communication Needs and Autism Advisory Teacher (SLCN & AAT) to support our schools in meeting the requirement of current legislation and the children & families Act with regard to autistic children and young people.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who has experience in working within multi academy trusts or similar educational environments.
All About You
Do you have what it takes to join us? Working as an SLCN & AAT you will have:
- Understanding the importance of the partnership between parents and schools
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and parents/carers in confident, calm and professional manner
- Ability to promote Trust and its schools in our community
- Experience of the assessment and intervention of children and young people’s educational needs across the primary and secondary age range including early years
