What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, enthusiastic speech andlanguage therapist to work with Locality E schools in Sheffield.
The successful post holder will liaise closely with the Locality E lead Headteacher toprovide targeted advice and support to all schools in the Locality.
We are looking for a qualified speech and language therapist who has experience ofworking with children and has a knowledge of appropriate support and intervention programmes schools can use to deliver high quality speech and language support.
The post is 37 hours per week and is initially a temporary position from September2023 until August 2024.
The ideal Speech and Language Therapist:
- Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
- Experience of supporting children and young people with similar needs
- A full UK driving license and access to a car is required due to the schools being indifferent locations
The advert describes in general terms the normal duties which the post holder will be expected to undertake. However, specific duties relating to individual pupils or groups cannot be listed. In addition, duties may be varied from time to time at the discretion of the Head Teacher. The post holder will be expected to work with any range of children across all schools in Locality E.
