Sports Co-ordinator - Grade F job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Sports Co-ordinator to join our friendly and supportive team. Are you the person we are looking for? If so read on:

The job entails working alongside another teacher to deliver PPA cover across the school. Additionally, one day will be spent coaching other teachers and supporting groups of pupils with PE activities. Delivering high-quality after school clubs will also be a core part of the role. During the lunch period you will organise and arrange sport activities, you will also support children at break time.
Hours will be: 8.30am to 4.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid time for lunch. This equates to 7 hours 15 minutes paid time each day (29 hours a week).
Club delivery will be from 3.15pm to 4.15pm
You will work the teacher training days to join all the staff training.
The successful candidate will:
- Have specialist experience in teaching PE
- Have experience in moving around classes and covering PPA for all year groups
- Have the ability to coach teachers and learning support assistants with PE
- Drive better opportunities for sports and exercise at break and lunch times
- Be committed to organising and attending agreed out of school sports fixtures
- Be committed to inclusion and the challenges to ensure the best provision for all
- Have a passion for learning within the curriculum
- Be positive, energetic and values based
- Inspire, motivate and challenge all of our learners
- Communicate well as part of a forward thinking team
- Support school opportunities outside curriculum time leading at Sports fixtures
