What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sports Coach to join the Team at Gorsey Bank Primary School. As part of this role you will support the Kids Club team, taking responsibility for the organisation, coordination and supervision of afterschool sports activities and clubs.At Gorsey Bank Primary School our ambition is for all pupils to develop a full appreciation of the world in which they are growing up and to feel a sense of awe and wonder about the vastness of human creativity and achievement.We are seeking a motivated individual to join us on this journey.

This position is contracted on a22 hours per week Term Time Only + 1 week basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.
Job Purpose
- To plan and prepare sessions in collaboration with colleagues.
- To deliver high quality PE sessions across EYFS and the Primary Phase.
- To promote the value of sport and embed a love physical activity.
Key Skills & Experience
- Relevant coaching qualifications or equivalent experience
- Experience of working with children aged 4 – 11 years would be advantageous
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role
