What skills and experience we're looking for
We have an exciting opportunity for a sports coach to join our over-subscribed school. The offer is open to experienced sports coaches with a drive to build on the strong sports provision in our school.
Working with children aged 2-11 years as part of the school team, you will provide safe, high-quality sports education and care for young children.
Duties will include:
- To plan lessons and sequences of lessons to meet pupils’ individual learning needs.
- To coach according to the individual needs of pupils, having high expectations and setting challenging targets.
- To lead successful, oversubscribed after school clubs which receive good feedback form pupils, parents and the wider community
- To attend staff meetings and in-service training courses and meetings as requires.
- To keep completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff which is acquired as part of the job.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of School.
