Salary has been pro-rata'd to work 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Redlands Community Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to be a proactive integrated member of the School Staff Team to deliver high quality sport provision and coordinate PE across the school. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Class Teachers & Senior Leadership Team to use proven skills to deliver PE and lunchtime/after school sport to children in the school.

We are looking for someone who has:

Lead Coach: UKCC Level 2 or above or equivalent.

Experience of coaching a range of sports.

Knowledge of child protection and health and safety procedures.

Empathy with children and young people.

We are looking for someone that can:

Work closely with and consult teachers, ensuring continuity and progression for all pupils.

Assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of whole class learning activities, including identifying how the pupils can best be supported.

Plan and deliver activities for the pupils to encourage their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development and assist with teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures, to utilise their skills and create an educational environment in which a pupil's all-round development is achieved in accordance with the School Development Plan and that all children realise their potential.
