Sports Leader job summary

Knowle Primary School are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Sports Leader to join the school, taking responsibility for the delivery of Sport and Physical Education across all year groups.


This is a varied role, focusing on raising the profile of PE across the children and the wider community. You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering PE and Sports lessons
  • Running extra-curricular activities and clubs
  • Promoting and actively engaging the school in inter/intra school competitions

Successful candidates for the Sports Leader vacancy will have as a minimum:

  • Pass in GCSE Maths and English (Grade C / 4+)
  • Experience in teaching/coaching a variety of sports
  • Experience of working with primary aged children
