Vacancy for Specialist Resource Base (SRB) Lead Teacher – Nelson Academy
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Autism to achieve their full potential. We are looking for a lead teacher who shares our school ethos of inclusion, equality, excellence, enjoyment and very high expectations, to join the Nelson Academy team.
This post is ideal for an individual who has experience of working in a SEND or ASD specific context and is seeking to further their career. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking, creative and a dedicated teacher, to help develop our provision to ensure it integrates within the wider school context.
You will be highly motivated and bring commitment to team work, provision of high quality education, flexibility and a willingness to develop new ideas. Experience of working with children with ASD is essential to the role.
We are seeking:
Specialist Resource Base (SRB) Lead Teacher
Salary – Leadership 1-5 (Full time salary £41,064 - £45,318, pro rata’d for 0.8FTE)
0.8 – 1.0 FTE (dependent on candidate)
Earliest start date – September 2020
Closing Date: 1st July 2020 at 15.00
Interviews: To be held the week commencing 6th July 2020

Our SRB provision is for 10 primary aged children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and is based on the site of the mainstream school.
