This position will be of interest to an individual with a passion and talent for supporting the behaviour, pastoral and welfare of pupils. The key focus of this role is to assist in a purposeful and disciplined learning environment so that students can achieve high levels of progress.

The vacancy on offer is within Post 16, however we would consider applications from those with strong experience looking to work with Key Stage 3 or 4.

It is essential that applicants have experience of working with young people, establishing successful relationships with them and experience of enforcing behaviour management. Applicants must also possess a GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics and be educated to A-level standard (or equivalent). It is essential that applicants have excellent organisational and administrative skills, the ability to carry out instructions, work with minimum supervision and equally to work under pressure. Although not essential, applicants with previous experience in an educational environment and experience of the UCAS system would be favourably welcomed.

The position is to work Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 4pm (finishing at 5pm on one day for training) on a term-time only basis plus professional development days. The role also requires working for one week during the Summer for the August exam results. The grading range for this role is from SF1.1 which starts from £23,490 per annum (this has already been pro-rated) and is dependent on experience. The position is to start as soon as possible although we recognise that a period of notice may need to be given.
