About Us:
Chiltern Hills Academy is a vibrant and inclusive educational setting dedicated to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment. We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join our team as a Student Services and Admissions Administrator on a maternity cover basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Attendance Duties:

Collaborate closely with the Attendance Officer to address student attendance concerns.

Assisting the Primary First Aider:

Oversee the care of students who are unwell or injured in the absence of the Primary First Aider.

Student Admissions:

Oversee the admission process for new students (Years 7-11).

Student Services Support:

Locate students for meetings and assist at the Student Services window.

Conduct student welfare checks and contact parents regarding welfare needs.

Supporting the Data Manager:

Add new admissions and request/send CTF files.

Reception Duties:

Support the Receptionist and undertake relief reception duties.

Actively promote the values and ethos of the Academy in all interactions.

Health and Safety:

Adhere to the Academy’s Health and Safety Policy at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Proficiency in using bromcom or similar school management systems is desirable.

First Aid certification is essential.

Chiltern Hills Academy is a Church of England, co-educational secondary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. There are circa 1025 students on the school roll, approximately 100 of whom study in the sixth form. Chiltern Hills Academy converted to academy status in 2011 and is jointly sponsored by the Diocese of Oxford and Buckinghamshire County Council.

We are situated in the market town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire in the Chiltern Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated close to the M40 and the M25, Chesham is on the end of Metropolitan line of the London Underground and is 28 miles north-west of London. There is ample parking on-site. Renting here is cheaper than in central London and if you enjoy travelling, it takes about 40 minutes by car to Heathrow.

The Elgiva Theatre, Lowndes Park and an open-air heated swimming pool are just some of the many public amenities available in the town. Chesham is renowned for its community spirit and there are many recreational and community groups catering for the diverse and active population.
