Student Services Officer

Location: Challney High School for Boys

Contract Type: Permanent, Term time plus five training days

Hours of work: 37 hours per week. The working day will start at 8:15am and finish at 4:15pm, finishing at 3:45pm one day a week.

Salary: L3 - Actual salary from £21,793 per annum

Challney High School for Boys is a successful and inclusive school with outstanding facilities, friendly staff and has a supportive environment.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-organised and confident individual to work in our busy student reception area.

We are looking for someone with a positive friendly approach, who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team, they should have strong ICT skills particularly in Excel and Word and have the ability to cope with changing priorities, deadlines and interruptions.

You will undertake a range of reception duties and provide medical and welfare support to students.

Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse, and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English.

Purpose of the post

To undertake a range of receptionist duties that supports the provision of high-quality administrative services to the school. To provide medical and welfare support to students.
