Student Support Coordinator job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to work closely with our Pastoral Leads and Heads of Year providing them with administrative and organization support, as well as being a first point of contact for parents/carers. The role contributes to the pastoral support network operating across the school working to ensure that students are able to develop resilience and achieve success.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who strives for positive outcomes with the ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues, students and parents/carers. Previous experience operating in a similar environment and providing strong administrative support, as well as pastoral care, is advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Excellent communication and IT skills are required together with a calm, resilient and organised approach, plus a willingness to obtain a first aid qualification, if not already held.

The hours of work are 35 per week, for 40 weeks per annum – term time plus attendance outside of core working hours to support occasional meetings and events – and the pattern of hours will be 8.00am – 3.30 pm Monday to Friday.
