We are looking for a suitably motivated and skilled individual to work within our outstanding pastoral team. Nunnery Wood has a clear ethos that every child will succeed. The role of our student support managers ensures that this is a reality and forms a crucial part of our safeguarding team. You will work closely with all members of the pastoral team in order to support and safeguard our students, with a focus on supporting our most vulnerable to maximise their potential, support student mental health and remove barriers to education for our most vulnerable. The person appointed will coordinate and deliver support for students, liaising with their parents, carers and agencies where relevant. The role will also include multi-agency work and direct work with the virtual school to support LAC.
The role will require excellent communication skills and ICT skills together with a determination to give all students the very best opportunity to succeed in their education. You will be supported by many able and inspiring colleagues.
