We are looking to appoint a Student Support Manager to support the whole school pastoral system.
Your key role will be to provide personal guidance and support to students, and you will be the first point of contact with students and parents concerning issues arising at school. You will be working with students who have a wide variety of pastoral needs including those who are disengaged, display challenging behaviour or require emotional support.
You will work under the direction of the Heads of Year and the Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour and Attitudes) and will liaise with other teachers and support staff as appropriate.
We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative to get things done, who is passionate about children and their well-being, and who can communicate well with students, parents and other adults.
Previous experience of working with young people is very important.
