We are excited to offer this temporary opportunity to work as a Health Care Assistant in our academy. The role involves assisting in the domestic care and general welfare of pupils in respect of personal hygiene programmes, being the primary first aid responder for the school, and managing the administration of medication to students as well checking stock and expiry dates of medication and first aid consumables around the academy. You will support the inclusion team and provide administrative support and carry out domestic tasks around the academy. You will work alongside external stakeholders to create, follow and deliver agreed plans for our students to thrive. Experience of working in schools would be desirable. You must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to manage your time effectively. Having the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is essential. We are looking for someone with a passion for working in education and working with young people, dedicated to building a strong relationship with students with medical needs and providing the highest level of care and support. You must be a self motivated, organised, proactive individual with a warm and nurturing approach with students and be comfortable assisting with their personal care.
