About the role/department
Outwood Academy Normanby is seeking to recruit a Learning Manager to support learning and maximise student achievement through the use of strategic interventions and data led monitoring.
As a Learning Manager you must have the ability to support our students and have a real desire to address the issues faced by our young people. You will monitor and support all students in the year group, both academically and behaviourally. You will work closely with the Inclusion Co-coordinator and the Leadership Team to improve student behaviour, attendance and achievement. You will work directly with students every day to help them to be the best they can be.
The successful candidate must be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met. The ability to work on your own initiative and be able to lead by example are essential. You will be required to work with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.
