What skills and experience we're looking for
Orleans Park is a successful and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive that serves its local community in Twickenham with over 1,350 students. The dedicated staff work hard to ensure students are successful and leave as responsible citizens and confident individuals.
We are seeking to appoint a Student Support & Welfare Officer to join our thriving school. This is a busy, student-facing role within a large secondary and sixth form school setting, working alongside appropriate members of staff to offer a safe, calm and caring environment for our students.
The successful candidate will have:
- first aid qualification, or be willing to train
- experience of working with children and young people
- the ability to work calmly under pressure and to respond flexibly to changing demands
- effective IT skills and confident in the use of Google and Microsoft suites
