Student Support Worker (there are several roles open) job summary
We are looking to recruit a number of Student Support Workers to work with our inclusion team to meet the needs of a wide range of students.
The successful candidate will be deployed flexibly to work with high-need students experiencing difficulties accessing education. These could be as a result of learning, emotional or other challenges in their lives. They will provide a mixture of one-to-one, small group and in-class support as needed with the goal being to ensure that all our students feel supported to access school, are suitably challenged by their tailored curriculum and learning plans and feel safe and supported in the school environment.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young people, have a flexible and positive approach, thrive working as part of a team, and be keen to ensure we deliver an inclusive education to our students.
The skills and experience you bring to the role will shape how you are deployed, but in-role training will also be provided to help you develop your skills and expertise working with young people.
We can offer you:
A happy and supportive working environment
A dedicated team of staff and governors and good support at all levels
A school focused on the value of staff wellbeing
Commitment to safeguarding

All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check.
