Student Welfare Manager & DDSL job summary

We are looking for a Student Welfare Manager to be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in school and to support the DSL in being able to implement the safeguarding policy effectively.  The successful candidate will support in all aspects of pastoral care including supporting our most vulnerable students.

The role forms part of a supportive team including Heads of Phase, Tutors, School Counsellor, School Nurse, Pastoral Assistants, Pastoral Administrator and Attendance Officer.

This is a high profile role within the school reporting to the Strategic Leadership Team and would suit someone who has previously worked in a school setting or similar environment.

Training and support will be provided.
