Subject Lead - Business job summary

We have an exciting opening for an enthusiastic, committed Subject Lead - Business to join us at Lincroft Academy. The subject lead will oversee the Business team to provide high standards of teaching and promote a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will be creative, imaginative and an excellent team player with a proven record of excellence in the classroom.

•           To take the lead of further improving the standards of the Business department.
•           Set goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions.
•           Encourage pupils to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.

The ideal candidate

•           Has a good educational background including a good Honours Degree or equivalent. 
•           Has high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload.   
•           Is an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.   
•           Be a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution focused attitude.
•           Has a positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach towards work.
•           Can evidence both curricular and pastoral responsibilities.
