Subject Lead for Girls Physical Education and Sports Coordinator job summary

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and passionate Subject Lead.
We are looking for an experienced teacher to lead a successful department and to be
responsible for sports events co-ordination. The successful candidate would be expected to
teach PE across all the ability ranges at KS3, KS4 and KS5, and be committed to delivering an
exceptional extra-curricular programme. A Level PE is taught at LSU for the whole of the
LaSWAP consortium. The ability to teach Health and Social Care would be an advantage.
The successful candidates should:
• have a strong commitment to Catholic education and the formation of young people
• high expectations for the learning and achievement of all students
• be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is able to inspire others by example
• work effectively as part of the team and support the needs of all staff
