Subject Leader: Art and Design job summary

 Harris Academy Peckham are seeking to appoint an excellent, qualified teacher to join us as Subject Leader in our Art & Design department where students make outstanding progress at all levels.

Your opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to join our team of committed staff who share a common sense of purpose and high expectations of what students can achieve. This role is a varied position with opportunity to oversee and establish outstanding provision within our Art and Design department. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Faculty Leader over provision of an engaging, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students.

What we are looking for

You will be used to planning and delivering high quality lessons, will have experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area and will be a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students. You will be a successful and ambitious teacher and hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
