Subject Leader Drama (Maternity cover) job summary

We are seeking to appoint to this 11-19 multi-cultural school a highly motivated, forward thinking individual to lead our experienced and exceedingly successful department from April 2020.

The candidate applying for this post should be ambitious, enthusiastic, committed individual with proven leadership skills and is committed to ensuring further improvements in pupil outcomes. It is expected that the successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner and be responsible for developing outstanding practice and advice for staff across the department. You must be able to demonstrate the leadership qualities, management skills and curriculum vision necessary to provide a high quality learning experience for our pupils. You must be able to demonstrate a determination to promote professional development so it impacts positively on the quality of teaching and learning.
