What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished MFL specialist to lead an experienced team. MFL is an important part of our curriculum offer with just under 50% of Year 9 selecting a Language to study at GCSE and a growing number of students carrying on with their studies into KS5. We are looking for a teacher who has experience in offering a language other than French, either German or Spanish would be considered.

What the school offers its staff

Our 11-18 school is growing and is at an exciting stage in its development. Our dedicated new Sixth Form building opened to students in January 2021, and the Mulberry Centre, a 24 place SEND setting, opened in November 2021. You will be joining a close-knit team and a Trust that is committed to ambition, aspiration and excellence for all.

Our teaching and learning culture is built on high expectations and evidence-bound practice to secure the strongest possible outcomes for all students.

We pride ourselves on our:

  • inclusive and friendly school community
  • boundless enthusiasm and positivity
  • strong commitment to CPD including our induction programme for new staff

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practitioner to make a significant contribution to the Stowupland High School community.
