The Oriel Music Department
AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVITY
Music at Oriel is a very important part of school life and we are looking for
an inspirational leader to lead our Music provision into the next exciting
phase of its development with opportunities to redevelop our music curriculum and reinvigorate our extra-curricular provision.
The Oriel Music team sits within our Arts Faculty and currently consists of 2 full-time teachers, additionally we have a team of peripatetic music staff who come in to school to deliver individual instrumental lessons to our students. We are lucky to have two purpose built music classrooms, one is a music technology suite. There are six practice rooms, a recording studio, a radio station, a live room and an ensemble room used for bands.
Our priority is to give our students the widest range of experiences possible, building cultural capital; inspiring and enabling them to have the best possible chance of success; instilling in them a passion and love for music.

invigorate Music education.
• Is knowledgeable and passionate about Music & who is motivated
to support students in achieving their full potential.
• s an excellent teacher, across all Key Stages, working to ensure
that achievement is of the highest quality; enthusing and engaging students and ensuring excellent progress is made by all students.
• Is passionate about extra-curricular activities, with creative ideas
for extending the Music provision at Oriel, enabling students to
thrive.
