Subject Leader for Religious Studies job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking colleague with energy, intellectual capacity, and determination to lead our successful Religious Studies Department and make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Teacher with specialist knowledge of Religious Studies and be committed to on-going professional development. An expert in their subject they will be able to teach GCSE and A level with confidence and inspire colleague to so the same. With a positive attitude and resilient nature, you will have demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a diverse team of colleagues and supportive of developing the emerging talents of less experienced or trainee colleagues. You will have proven strategies for raising attainment at all levels and for enabling students with additional needs to reach their full potential in line with their more able peers. Whilst not essential for this role, candidates with experience of delivering A Level Law would be desirable.
