Subject Leader for Spanish job summary

The Role

We are looking to appoint a Subject Leader for Spanish to cover the maternity leave of our substantive post holder. We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced teacher for January 2025 until approximately January 2026, who is enthusiastic, able and willing to lead the effective delivery of Spanish at our school. MFL has a very strong profile within the school and the team lead the way on shared approaches to teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that values modern languages highly – we teach French, Spanish and German to students in Years 7 to 13. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4, although an ability to teach Spanish to A-level is desirable. The capacity to also teach either French or German is essential. However, first and foremost, we are looking for an enthusiastic linguist with vision and credibility in the classroom.
