What skills and experience we're looking for

  • The role of Subject Leader - Geography involves ensuring the effective co-ordination of all aspects of Geography and lead the learning and teaching whilst contributing to the monitoring of standards of performance
  • The appointee should be an experienced and outstanding teacher able to demonstrate an excellent record of public examination success
  • Experience and demonstrable success in a position of responsibility within your subject area
  • Ability to enthuse and lead a team effectively.

The Academy is fortunate in that it owns its own ‘Academy Fields’; a large section of fertile land and the perfect environment for outdoor learning.
