Subject Leader of Geography job summary

An outstanding Subject Leader of Geography is required for May 2025 to join an outstanding, committed and hard-working department. The department has close links to other schools in the Tudor Grange family.

The department consists of five specialist geography teachers who work closely as a team. The department is well provided with teaching resources. A wide range of teaching and learning strategies are used in the delivery of geography. Fieldwork opportunities are offered in all key stages.

Additionally, you will benefit from:

87% of students achieved grade 4+ in Geography and 39% of students achieved grade 7+ in 2024.

A consistently popular subject choice, with 52 A-Level students and 367 at GCSE

Teaching in a forward-thinking department that prides itself on its collaborative approach, is engaged with CPD and utilises a knowledge-based approach to teaching and learning
