Subject Leader of MFL job summary
The Role
We are looking for an outstanding MFL Subject Leader to join our faculty.
The Faculty
Our MFL faculty currently consists of two teachers and sits within the World Studies department.
The MFL team offers two European languages, French and Spanish, which are taught by two specialist Modern Foreign Language teachers. Our aim is to equip students with the skills and confidence they will need to communicate effectively in another language. At KS3, students receive two lessons a week in either French or Spanish; both subjects are offered as options at KS4 and those students receive three lessons a week.
The faculty offers a range of extracurricular trips and opportunities at both KS3 and KS4, including trips to France and Spain.
About You
To be successful, you will be highly qualified and be able to support in the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. You will be passionate about your specialist subject and seek to positively impact your field and Academy.
