What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Subject Leader of Music who will inspire pupils through musical leadership and excellence. This position will be critical in ensuring delivery of high-quality teaching of music to pupils in both curricular and extra-curricular capacities. The successful candidate will have a degree in music, possess proficient keyboard skills (Grade 5+), and ideally have a Grade 8 on at least one instrument. The ability to sing and be willing to lead the school choir will also be an advantage. The music department is central to the Catholic ethos of the school, and there is an expectation that music will be provided for acts of collective worship, including Masses and liturgies.
