Subject Leader of Music job summary

we are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Subject Leader with a strong track record in teaching music who will work closely with our Subject Leader of Drama to expand the performing arts provision and engagement at Woodchurch High School. We are looking for a candidate who can set out a long term plan for music. A candidate who has vision, clarity and energy, and the capability to expand this area of the curriculum.

We are keen to appoint an outstanding teacher who shares our vision of delivering a vibrant and varied range of musical experiences for the pupils. As well as engaging lessons that promote a high level of participation and progression into Key Stage 4, we wish to increase extra curricular opportunities. Both independently and through collaboration with the Subject Leader of Drama, you will develop an exciting programme for pupils enabling them participate in performances and experiences that develop individual skills, provide enrichment and deepen cultural knowledge.
