We seek to appoint a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic subject leader of Religious Studies for September 2020.
The successful candidate will have a passion and commitment to inspire and enrich all students. We are seeking a creative and dynamic practitioner, who will be able to develop further the planning and delivery of our Religious Studies curriculum at KS3 and 4.
This is a middle leadership post, with a TLR 2a allowance.
The successful candidate must have good organisation and communication skills and embrace school life.
John Hanson is a successful 11-16 community school. Our students are friendly and confident and we strive to ensure that they achieve the success that they deserve. Religious Studies is a thriving subject– there are currently 3 GCSE groups across key stage 4. Over the last 3 years, RS has averaged 76% at grades 9-4 and an impressive 40% at grade 9-7!
