We seek to appoint a Subject Leader in Science who can motivate and inspire students to develop a passion and enthusiasm for Science. This position would suit an experienced teacher seeking to step into middle leadership or a current middle leader looking to enter the exciting and rewarding alternative education sector.
The successful candidate will teach Science at key stages three and four. Our students are currently taught in classes of up to ten students.
You must be a resilient individual committed to positively impacting the lives of young people. You will teach students with a range of special educational needs, including ADHD and SEMH and students who have been unsuccessful within mainstream schools for various reasons. Therefore, we require all staff members to build healthy relationships with young people, understand and employ restorative practice principles and commit to ongoing professional development.
