What the school offers its staff

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos. The school has had four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent.

Our students routinely achieve excellent results. In 2022, 86% of students achieved grade 4+ in Combined Science, 93% in GCSE Biology, 90% in GCSE Chemistry and 93% in GCSE Physics. Biology, Physics and Chemistry are popular at A-Level and many students go on to study Science at university.
