What skills and experience we're looking for

We seek to recruit a strong subject specialist in Chemistry & Biology to join a collaborative team of 14 Science teachers who are passionate and committed to developing Science across the school. This is an excellent opportunity for either an ECT or someone wishing to further develop their career.

The successful candidate will join a friendly, welcoming and exciting department. They will have the opportunity to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5, as well as contribute to our science themed enrichment programmes. Chemistry and Biology are popular subjects within our large sixth form - we currently have 247 students studying at least one Science A-level. We look to plan collaboratively in teams wherever possible, sharing resources to allow us to spend our time focusing on practice and minimising workload. Please see our additional information sheets for more details about our Chemistry and Biology Departments at UOBS.
