The Forest School is a highly successful, friendly and dynamic 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. It is an exciting time in the history of the school as from September ‘21 the school had its first co-educational intake and looks forward to welcoming a more girls in September ‘22. There is also significant investment being put into the school in the refurbishment and redesign of two new state of the art Science rooms as well as further redevelopment throughout the school. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join and lead our highly successful Science team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
Qualified Teacher Status
the ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results
excellent organisational and ICT skills
very good subject knowledge across all science disciplines
the capacity to work collaboratively and lead a team
a passion for Science and the ability to inspire and share this with young people
a commitment to developing in the role through proactive engagement with CPD and own learning
Applications will be considered from candidates with varying levels of experience (although this post is not suitable for an ECT).
