Further details about the role
Duties:
General Caretaking - managing and liaising with contractors, restocking and ordering soap and cleaning materials, supervising cleaning staff, handling deliveries, porterage, setting up meeting rooms.
- Maintenance and Minor Repairs
- Regulatory Health & Safety Checks - regular compliance checks of the fire alarms, emergency lighting and legionella testing and maintain computerised records (full onsite training provided).
- Site Security - opening and closing the school, checking site is secure before and after school opening times, monitor CCTV, undertake lettings.
- Grounds and Garden Maintenance - tidying, sweeping, weeding, perimeter walks, snow clearance.
- Driving the school mini – bus.
