Support Officer job summary

37 hours per week - Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)

40 weeks of the year - term time, inset days plus 2 additional weeks

Brentwood County High School is seeking a highly motivated Support Officer to join their team. As part of a group of support officers, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks across the school. Your specific responsibilities will encompass school data and events. Collaborating closely with the Data Manager and the Senior Leadership Team, this role offers an opportunity to positively impact our school community.

The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships with staff and possess the ability to handle a variety of administrative duties including preparing reports and importing/exporting student files. Demonstrating flexibility in managing their workload, they should have prior administrative experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages. Experience within an educational setting in an administrative capacity would be advantageous.

BCHS is located in the heart of Brentwood, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station, which is 25 minutes from Liverpool Street Station. BCHS is just over two miles from the M25.
